South Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company (SCFBMIC) recently contracted with Denny Blalock to serve as an agent in the Chapin office located at 1409 Chapin Road.
Blalock graduated from Lexington High School. He went on to attend the University of South Carolina.
“I worked in customer service for the past 30 years,” Blalock said. “Not all businesses out there are looking out for their customers’ best interest. After the passing of a family member, I was impressed with how quickly Farm Bureau Insurance came to help in such a difficult time. Because of this experience I decided to become an insurance agent, so I can help people in their best of times and in their greatest times of need just like Farm Bureau Insurance helped me.”
Blalock is a member of Chapin Baptist Church in Chapin, where he lives with his wife, Jaime. They have one 22 year-old daughter, Jade. Blalock and his wife love to go paddle boarding and boating on Lake Murray. They can also be found volunteering at Dreher Island State Park.
