Lexington-Richland School District Five is hosting a Community Resource Fair on Tuesday, March 29 at Irmo High School from 5:00 p.m.– 7:00 p.m.
The free event is open to all families in School District Five and will feature information about valuable resources and services available for families of students with disabilities. The fair is being facilitated by School District Five‘s Office of Special Services.
“We believe this Community Resource Fair will help us educate and inform our families and bridge the gap between school, home, and community,” said School District Five Director of Special Services Dr. Angie Slatton said. “This educational event hopes to connect our families with tools they need to help them and their children succeed in partnership with School District Five.”
More than 17 different organizations will be at the event to help share tools and resources.Hearing and Spanish translators will be available during the event.
