Lexington County School District One will host a Pathways to Employment Fair, a hiring and recruitment event for education and school support careers.
The fair will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at White Knoll High School, 5643 Platt Springs Road in Lexington.
The event is open to job seekers interested in careers in education and school support services. School- and district-level hiring leaders will be onsite to meet directly with candidates.
As Lexington One works to meet critical staffing needs, the district is inviting prospective employees to explore meaningful career pathways that support its mission to help students learn, grow and excel. Attendees can learn about competitive benefits, professional growth opportunities, and may be invited to interview the same day or in the coming weeks.
Positions include:
- Teachers (elementary, middle and high school — all subject areas)
- Special education positions, including speech-language pathologists, psychologists and instructional assistants
- Transportation (bus drivers and aides)
- Food services
- Custodial and maintenance
