Brandon Brantly, principal at Saluda River Academy for the Arts, speaks with a job candidate during the Lexington Two Teacher Job Fair in January 2025.
Those interested in teaching opportunities with Lexington School District Two are invited to attend the district’s annual Teacher Job Fair on January 27.
The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Lexington Two Performing Arts Center, located at 3205 Platt Springs Road in West Columbia. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and speak with administrators and teachers from across the district to learn more about available positions for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Lexington Two will again offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus for new teacher hires in critical needs areas, including special education and secondary math and science. The district’s starting salary for first-year teachers is $51,000, among the highest in the region.
Registration is available at lex2.org, though walk-ins are also welcome. Candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, teaching portfolio, references, and teaching certifications.
In addition to competitive pay, Lexington Two offers mentoring programs for new teachers, professional development and leadership opportunities, flexible support programs, and state health benefits. The district serves students in the Lexington County communities of Cayce, West Columbia, Springdale, South Congaree, and Pine Ridge.
