Lake Murray, S.C. – The 11th annual Reggaetronic Lake Murray Music Festival is set to bring fun in the sun to Spence Island on June 15, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
This year’s lineup features Madds, fresh from performances at Lollapalooza in Chile and Brazil, Zack Deputy from Bluffton, and Treehouse from Charleston, among others. The festival is partnering with Tidewater Boats, Monster Energy, Capital City Lake Murray Country, Wilson Marine, Coogler Construction, and others to offer this completely free floating music festival to the public.
Reggaetronic is South Carolina’s longest-running flotilla music festival, celebrating modern reggae, funk, rock, and electronic music. The festival promotes friendship, fellowship, and good vibes in the spirit of the Palmetto State. Proceeds benefit the Jamil Temple Shriners’ contributions to the Children’s Hospital of South Carolina.
“Reggaetronic is the longest-running flotilla festival in South Carolina, and we are proud to bring this 100% free floating festival back every year,” said Founder Ronnie Alexander. “Last year we had over 2,200 boats in attendance. We are happy to bring this event back to our home state, highlighting friendship, fellowship, and the start of summer.”
In 2023, the festival drew over 13,000 people (over 2,200 boats) from 34 different states. Supporting sponsor Capital City Lake Murray Country touts Lake Murray as the jewel of South Carolina. The festival has a significant economic impact, with all rental properties in the area sold out and local businesses experiencing a 19% increase in sales.
