Shandon United Methodist Church has announced the church’s 19th Annual Garage Sale, sponsored by the United Women in Faith.
Mark your calendars for the event, taking place August 11, from 8 am to 2:30 pm, and continuing August 12, from 8 am to 1 pm.
The sale will be held at the Shandon United Methodist Church located at 3407 Devine Street, Columbia, situated on the corner of Devine, Millwood, and Adger.
From electronics and lamps to furniture, toys, holiday decorations, kitchenware, linens, framed art, crafts, and tools, there is something for everyone. Cash will be the only accepted form of payment.
This annual Garage Sale serves as the church’s primary fundraising event, and every penny generated will be donated to charities. Over the past 18 years, contributions have surpassed an estimated half a million dollars, benefiting organizations such as the Harvest Hope Food Bank, Cooperative Ministries, SisterCare, Family Shelter, the Free Medical Clinic, and Killingsworth Home.
