Lexington Town Council candidate Will Allen landed influential endorsements from conservative legislators in Lexington County’s entire State House Freedom Caucus delegation as his momentum builds for this November’s elections in the Town of Lexington. State Reps Jay Kilmartin, RJ May, Ryan McCabe and Joe White all enthusiastically threw their support behind Allen’s candidacy.
“In these times of overbearing government from the federal and state levels, it is more important than ever to have strong, conservative voices,” State House Freedom Caucus Vice Chairman May said. “That is why I am joining the other members of our county’s Freedom Caucus delegation to support Will Allen. He will be an outstanding, freedom fighter for Lexington.”
Allen is grateful for the endorsement:
“You never take this kind of support for granted but it is clear that I will fight for freedom, I will fight for less government regulation, I will fight to lower the tax burden on Lexingtonians and I will fight to maintain the character of our town,” Allen said. “It is a great honor to gain the support of these Freedom Fighters. They are fighting for us at the state level and I will fight for us at the local level.”
Rep. Kilmartin also shared that “we must stand strong for the right principles at all levels of government. Strong conservatives like Will Allen must take the lead in our communities and that’s why he is the right guy at the right time.”
The election for Lexington Town Council takes place on Tuesday, November 7th with early voting beginning on Monday, October 23rd. For more information about Will Allen, please visit WillAllenforLexSC.com.
