Irmo to close series with Beatles tribute

Irmo concert series underway

The Town of Irmo resumed their free Spring Concert Series in Moore Park on Friday, April 24 featuring a Fleetwood Mac tribute band.

The performances began at 7 pm with an opening act from Freeway Music in Irmo. Kick, Snare, Crash opened the show as a duo on the Prisma Amphitheatre stage.

Sam and Illia headlined the event and performed a variety of Fleetwood Mac songs showcasing the powerful voice of Illia accompanied by guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and steel guitar. Sam played electric guitar.

The night was sponsored by State Farm Insurance and Window World. Craft and Draft provided beverages and Cox Family BBQ sponsored the VIP area. Kona Ice, Kusina Filipina, Beat the Heat Lemonade provided more food and beverage.

Irmo to close series with Beatles tribute

The town will celebrate the grand finale of the series with a May 8 performance by The Return: A Tribute to the Beatles beginning at 5:30 pm. The free, family-friendly event will take place at the Prisma Health Amphitheater, located at 7473 Church Street.

Headlining the evening, The Return has been performing since 1995 with its tribute to the legendary Beatles. From harmonies and vintage instruments to costumes and stage presence, the band recreates the energy and excitement of the Fab Four’s most memorable performances.

The concert will also feature opening performances by Freeway Music and the Lola Grace Duo.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and gather with friends and family to enjoy the final show of the spring series. Food and beverage vendors will be onsite with a variety of options available for purchase. Admission and parking are free, making the event accessible for all members of the community.

We look forward to seeing families, friends, and neighbors come out to enjoy another great night of music in Irmo!”

The event is hosted by the Town of Irmo in partnership with Window World of the Midlands and local State Farm agents Theresa Miley, Terri Brock, Amy Masincupp, Shannon Rikard, and Patti Grooms.
