The Lexington County School District One Educational Foundation is excited to announce its annual Fore the Foundation Grand Golf Tournament, set for Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Golden Hills Golf and Country Club. The tournament will kick off with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
Team registration is $500 and includes breakfast, green and cart fees, a late lunch, an awards ceremony, and a chance to win some fantastic prizes. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and come with various benefits, depending on the sponsorship level. For details, contact Julie Anderson Washburn, the foundation’s executive director.
Proceeds from the event will support the foundation’s mission of serving Lexington District One students, teachers, and schools. Each year, the foundation provides educational and need-based grants that are critical for enhancing literacy, STEM programs, scholarships, and assisting families in crisis.
