IRMO, S.C. — The Miss Okra Strut Pageant will return to Irmo on September 12 at the Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College.
Ninety contestants will compete for crowns during two sessions, with the morning competition beginning at 10 a.m. and the afternoon competition at 3 p.m. WLTX news anchor Erika Glover will serve as emcee for both events.
Tickets are $10 at the door. Organizers accept cash, Venmo and PayPal.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal to support Adaline’s Animals, a local initiative that provides stuffed animals to children’s homes.
Harbison Theatre is located at 7300 College Street in Irmo.
