Ross Lowder in Chapin sent us this picture of Dip out frolicking in the recent snowfall from Friday night and Saturday morning. Some places reported up to 3 inches of the white fluffy stuff which gave everything a winter wonderland appearance. It had been eight years since the Midlands saw this much snow.
Ice and sleet preceded the event earlier on Friday but it turned to snow after 9 pm. It was in February of 2014 since the last significant snowfall.
