Chief Terrence Green proudly announces the 6th Annual Lexington Police Department Foundation Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, April 29, 2024, at Golden Hills Golf & Country Club. This esteemed event serves a noble purpose: to provide vital funding for the Lexington Police Department Foundation, bolstering our officers, department, and community-focused initiatives.
Heartfelt gratitude goes to Crystal Wallace of RE/MAX at the Lake, our esteemed Chief Level Sponsor, for her generous $5,000 donation to the Lexington Police Department Foundation.
As the tournament approaches, we eagerly welcome team entries and seek the support of local corporate and business sponsorships. Monetary contributions are invaluable, and businesses can also contribute items for player gift bags and raffle prizes.
With a cap of twenty-five four-player teams, team entry is $400, encompassing a catered breakfast and lunch, raffle prizes, and on-course challenges with enticing rewards. Tournament victors will claim individual trophies, and mulligan packages will be available for purchase at tournament sign-in on the day of the event.
Corporate sponsorships are available at six levels, ranging from the $500 Officer Level to the $5,000 Chief Level, each offering prominent business signage on the golf course and online exposure. Some sponsorship tiers include complimentary team entries or multiple teams. Notably, a new Officer Level sponsorship enables businesses to sponsor a law enforcement team of players, accompanied by on-course signage.
Furthermore, on-the-course sponsorships afford businesses a corporate tent space on each hole of the golf course at the Corporal Level for $500. Corporal Level sponsors are encouraged to craft engaging themes for their tent spaces, complete with games, refreshments, or giveaways. The “Best Course Tent” contest promises additional rewards, granting the winning business complimentary sponsorships at three significant Lexington Police Department events.
Golden Hills Golf & Country Club, situated at 100 Scotland Drive in Lexington, South Carolina, will host the tournament. Breakfast and check-in commence at 8:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
The Lexington Police Department Foundation operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ensuring transparency and accountability in all endeavors.
