LMSO’s annual Concertos & Cupcakes concert, featuring this year’s winners of the Young Artist Competition, will be held this Sunday, June 11 at 3:30 pm.
Juliet Swaim – 1st Place – will be performing Violin Concerto No.1 by Sibelius and Caroline Huang – 2nd Place – will be performing Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme
In addition, the program includes:
Suppe’s Overture to Morning, Noon, and Night in Vienna,
War March of the Priests from Athalia by Mendelssohn,
Pan and Echo by Sibelius, and a surprise encore, of course.
Come for the music, but stay for the free cupcake and lemonade reception following the concert. The event will be held at Harbison Theatre, 7300 College Street.
