School District Five is hosting a Career Exploration Day on Wednesday, October 25 at the Center for Advanced Technical Studies.
The district is collaborating with the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department (SCVRD) to offer Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) for juniors and seniors that are currently served in school with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and/or a 504 Plan.
Students will start their day together for a kick off from Superintendent Dr. Akil Ross. After he speaks, students will begin their rotations. There will be a total of five rotations and lunch. Speakers include Midlands Technical College, SC Department of Employment and Workforce, Saluda Shoals and Municipal Associates of South Carolina.
