The Irmo Outreach Committee will be hosting a Food Truck Friday event May 28, at the Irmo Town Park. The event will take place from 6 to 9 pm.
Local artisans and others interested in setting up tables or booths at the event are invited to complete the vendor form on the organization’s website (irmooutreach.org/events). The Irmo Outreach Committee serves disabled, elderly, and other members of our community who are in need of basic home and property repairs, and landscaping assistance. The Committee is made entirely of volunteers who desire to give back to community.
Food Truck Friday will feature local mobile food and beverage vendors, as well as local arts and crafts dealers. Business licensees are required for professional business entities who wish to participate, home-based and part-time sellers will be exempt from a license fee. A raffle will be held beginning at this event for a quality grill to be awarded later this summer.
If you’d like to volunteer before the event, visit the IOC website and complete the volunteer form (irmooutreach.org/volunteer). If you’re interested in reserving a merchant’s booth space, complete the event page form listed above. A $20 fee will be charged for adults reserving a vendor booth space. Spaces will be provided without charge for preregistered sellers younger than 18 who are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
