The Gaston Collard and BBQ Fest starts with a BBQ competition on October 7.
On on October 8, there’s a parade at 131 North Carlisle Street behind Gaston Town Hall before the festival.
Enjoy live music, and free rides, and browse through crafters, vendors, and exhibitors. The kitchen opens at 11:30 a.m., serving Collards and BBQ plates with Southern specialties. The free event is family-friendly with no alcohol permitted on the premises.
