It was ‘Kids Day’ for the July fishing tournament held at Dreher Island by the Midlands Striper Club.
Trophies were given by age group with each young fisherman/fisherwoman weighing in two fish. After the lunch, trophies were passed out and prizes were given to the youth.
In addition, each young fishermen received a LEW’s spinning rod and reel.
Midlands Striper Club is a family-oriented fishing organization dedicated to, fun, fellowship ,education and preserving our fisheries for generations to come. MSC’s next monthly meeting will be Aug. 13 at the FlightDeck in Lexington starting at 7 p.m.
The next fishing tournament is set for Aug. 15 at 50/50 Club TX at Dreher Island.
