High finishes at consecutive tournaments has the River Bluff girls’ wrestling team ranked
second in the latest SCMAT.COM rankings.
A week after finishing second at the Bearcat Invitational in Rock Hill, the Lady Gators closed out
the regular season at the Collin Rose Classic at Stall High School. They finished third behind
top-ranked Rock Hill and second-ranked Blythewood with three first-place winners.
Taking top honors were Sophia Voudouris (135 lbs.), Amy Robinson (145 lbs.) and Samantha
Parrett (235 lbs.). Malyn Gentry (100 lbs.) finished in second place and Gracie Beaulieu (125
lbs.) placed fourth.
Up next for River Bluff girls is the state qualifier on Jan. 25. Meanwhile, the boys’ team will play
host to Dutch Fork Wednesday for Seniors’ Night.
