Landscaping trade show January 21-22

The SC Green Industry Association (SCGIA) will bring together more than 150 exhibitors and more than 20 industry speakers to cover an range of landscape topics during a two-day Conference and Trade Show held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on January 21 and 22.

The Trade Show and education seminars will run from 8 am – 4:15 pm January 21 and from 8 am – noon January 22. The SC Green Industry Association also hosts a Legislative Oyster Roast to be held at 5 pm on January 21, at the Convention Center where members of the State House are invited and $10,000 in college scholarships are awarded.

Landscape industry professionals are able to choose their own schedules selected from a list of sessions including Addressing Public Concerns about Glyphosate, Weed Management Practices & IPM, Small Engine Maintenance, and an Irrigation Tech Training. Attendees can earn up to four continuing education credit hours for the following certifications: South Carolina Pesticide, North Carolina Pesticide, International Society of Arboriculture, North Carolina Irrigation, and Landscape Architect. In addition to earning credit hours, attendees will receive a Trade Show pass, coffee and doughnuts, and lunch included in the cost.
