IRMO, SC – The Capital City/Lake Murray Country (CCLMC) organization marked a significant milestone on August 22 with a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the expansion of the Lake Murray Country Visitor Center in Irmo.
The event saw local and state leaders, including Richland County Councilmen Jason Branham (District 1) and Paul Livingston (District 4), in attendance. This expansion is part of a broader effort to enhance tourism and stimulate economic growth in the Midlands.
Richland County has invested $100,000 into the project, which will provide the necessary resources for CCLMC to further its mission of promoting the area as a premier destination.
