District Five students Nitya and Kelsey were named the Rotary Club of Lake Murray-Irmo’s Service above Self May Students of the Month.
“Nitya is always ready to volunteer and help others out. She recently helped the District with a grant and volunteered her time outside of school to collect water samples at Saluda Shoals. She is the epitome of the Rotary’s motto ‘Service Above Self.’” said Irmo Middle School Principal Mansa Joseph.
“Kelsey loves her school. She is passionate about our Harbison West family and recently sparked several initiatives at the school that highlight staff and students on a weekly basis. Kelsey is a true Harbison West HERO.” said Harbison West Elementary School Principal Randy Norman.
