Multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Bill Gaither will bring his Moments To Remember Tour to Lexington this fall. Gaither, along with his renowned Gaither Vocal Band, will perform at Northside Baptist Church, located at 4347 Sunset Boulevard, on Saturday, October 12, at 7 p.m.
At 88 years old, Gaither continues to be a driving force in gospel music, touring across the country after a busy spring that included concert appearances and the launch of SiriusXM’s Bill Gaither’s enLighten channel. Along with his wife, Gloria, Gaither has penned more than 900 songs and earned the title of ASCAP Christian Songwriters of the Century. The couple’s Homecoming series of CDs and videos continues to be a favorite among fans, keeping them at the top of the gospel charts for over three decades.
Joining Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band this fall are vocalists Ladye Love Smith, Gene McDonald, and newcomer Chris Blue, as well as Gaither’s musical ensemble featuring Kevin Williams, Matthew Holt, and Michael Rowsey.
