County Council Chairwoman Carrigg backs Will Allen for Town Council

“Will Allen will be an integral voice that helps shape the trajectory of Lexington for many years to come.”

Those were the words of Lexington County Council Chairwoman Beth Carrigg as she threw her support behind Lexington Town Council candidate Will Allen in the election on November 7th

Carrigg, the former County Clerk of Court, added “I am confident in his desire to work with fellow Town Council members as a good steward of taxpayer monies and when appropriate, work alongside members of Lexington County Council for the greater good of limited annexation and responsible growth.”

“It is an amazing privilege to have the support of Chairwoman Carrigg,” Allen said of the endorsement. “I am a conservative who will collaborate with our county to protect the quality of life for our citizens. Beth has been leading the way on the issues that matter to the people of Lexington.”

Carrigg’s endorsement comes on the back of Allen gaining the support of Lexington County Delegation State Reps. Jay Kilmartin, RJ May, Ryan McCabe and Joe White.

Early voting for this year’s municipal elections begins on October 23rd at the Lexington County Registrations and Elections office at 605 West Main St, Suite C in Lexington. To learn more about Will Allen’s candidacy for town council, visit WillAllenforLexSC.com.
