Weissman has served as the district’s director of transportation since 1999. Prior to serving as the district’s transportation director, he served as Chief of Operations for plans, training, mobilization and security for a United States Army base in Germany.

Superintendent Dr. Akil E. Ross, Sr. said, “Mr. Weissman is already a proven leader within our operations department and I know he will transition into this new role seamlessly. He puts students first in his decision-making and maintains excellent working relationships with district employees and the community. He has served this district well for the past 23 years I know he will continue to do so!”
