The South Carolina Green Industry Association will host its annual two-day conference and trade show at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on January 29-30, bringing together more than 115 exhibitors and 16 expert speakers.
The event, designed for landscape industry professionals, offers a packed schedule of educational seminars, technical training, and networking opportunities. Activities run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 29 and 8 a.m. to noon on January 30.
Highlights include presentations on weed control, tree planting best practices, seasonal color design, and advanced topics like landscape planning, irrigation, and business strategies. The event will kick off with keynote speaker Jeff McManus, known for his expertise in landscape management and leadership.
Attendees can earn continuing education credits for certifications, including South Carolina and North Carolina Pesticide, International Society of Arboriculture, North Carolina Irrigation, and North Carolina Landscape Contractor credentials.
In addition, the association will award $16,000 in scholarships to collegiate horticulture programs across the state.
