Lexington County narcotics agents apprehended an Irmo man wanted on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 20 on April 24.
Stewart Jamaul Stroman, 34, faces numerous charges, including multiple counts of trafficking methamphetamine exceeding 400 grams, trafficking fentanyl, and criminal conspiracy, as outlined in arrest warrants.
Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon provided details of the arrest, stating, “A deputy pulled Stroman over on I-20 near exit 55, and upon confirming his identity, detained Stroman due to multiple warrants for his arrest.” During a probable cause search of Stroman’s vehicle, law enforcement officials discovered over 1,000 grams of methamphetamine.
Sheriff Koon noted that the confiscated quantity of methamphetamine holds an approximate street value of $6,000.
Stewart Jamaul Stroman currently remains in custody, facing charges related to drug trafficking and criminal conspiracy.
