Union United Methodist Church invites you to join us for our Union Choir Concert titled, “Why We Sing”, Sunday, June 12, at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Union UMC. This concert will be our first full concert before we head overseas on tour. Come support your Union Choir and hear some fun and beautiful music! All are invited, so bring a friend, family member, Sunday school class, or your whole neighborhood! Admission is free.
After a year-long delay, the Union UMC Chancel Choir is finally going on tour! For the last several months we have been hard at work preparing a concert of wonderful music to bring glory to God and delight our audiences.
We are scheduled for five singing engagements “across the pond.” On June 26, we will sing for morning worship at Wesley’s Chapel in London. Next, we will sing an acapella recital at Canterbury Cathedral on June 27, and a full concert at Southwark Cathedral in London on June 28. Our next stop is York, where we will sing a full concert at St. Helen’s Church – Stonegate on July 1. Finally, we will sing our third full concert at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh on July 4. We plan to record all of our concerts and post clips, pictures and other fun stuff on our church website (unionirmo.org) and also on our YouTube channel.
