The Lake Murray region crowned two state champions at the South Carolina High School League Individual State Wrestling Championships held at the Florence Center.

Grace Beeson of Lexington High School captured her second consecutive state title at 120 pounds. She defeated Rock Hill’s Reagan Beard by a 7-0 decision to repeat as champion. Beeson adds the wrestling title to two state championships she previously earned as a member of Lexington’s competitive cheer team.
Meanwhile, Kyrra Shipman-Lutz made history for River Bluff High School. She secured the 140-pound championship with a pinfall victory over Greenwood’s Malia Hart, becoming the school’s first-ever girls wrestling state champion.

- Sophia Voudouris, River Bluff High School — 135 pounds, 3rd place
- Jemizhia Delli, White Knoll High School — 100 pounds, 4th place
