Both the Lexington High School boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams captured top honors at the Pelican’s Invitational, held Sept. 9 in Lexington.
On the girls’ side, Kendra Miles led the Lady Wildcats with a first-place finish in the individual standings. For the boys, Josh Voegele crossed the line first in the varsity division, pacing the Wildcats to the team victory.
The wins highlight a strong start to the season for Lexington, with both teams demonstrating depth and championship potential.
