Meredith Dial joins Make-A-Wish board

This month, Make-A-Wish South Carolina elected Meredith Dial, marketing manager for Dial Grimm and Rupert, to the chapter’s board of directors.

“We are overjoyed to add Meredith Dial as a director to our board. We are honored to have another director who understands our mission so well. Meredith embodies a desire for amplifying our story and reach. I have no doubt she will impact our ability to further our mission throughout the entire state.” said Misty Farmer, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish South Carolina.

Dial is a South Carolina native who grew up on the banks of Lake Murray and still calls the Midlands home. She is the wife of Chad and mom of Myatt, a Make-A-Wish kid living with a respiratory disorder. In 2020, she and Chad opened The Dial Firm, now Dial Grimm & Rupert, a real estate law firm serving all of South Carolina. “Board members are champions of the mission and have many responsibilities: they are policymakers, fundraisers, strategic thinkers and ambassadors. Meredith has the skills, drive and passion necessary to fulfill all these roles,” Farmer said “We are very fortunate to have her by our side as we continue to strengthen our wish community in South Carolina.”

Dial said, “I am thrilled for the opportunity to take my support of Make-A-Wish to new heights and look forward to sharing the joy my family experienced with other families across South Carolina.”

Dial has been deeply involved with Make-A-Wish since her son’s wish was granted. She serves on the Development Committee for the chapter and has hosted wish celebrations for several local wish kids. She has also made it a mission to help fund wishes for the chapter and recently hosted Wine Down for Wishes, a Columbia-based event that raised more than $13,000.

Dial is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with the family dogs, and watching her son Myatt conquer the T-ball field.
