You can find a variety of “Murray Christmas” items at Lake Murray Country’s Souvenir Shop, located inside the Lake Murray Country Visitor Center. This year the Murray Christmas design is a photograph that local resident, Ross MacNett, took last December of his brightly lit Christmas tree on his Lake Murray dock. The photo perfectly captured Christmas on Lake Murray so the Capital City/Lake Murray County staff reached out to MacNett for permission to use the photo.
“You must stop by to see our Murray Christmas items with MacNett’s photo. They are selling fast! And, make plans to join us for our Holiday HOP & SHOP event on December 2nd from 4-7 pm,” said Amy Roof Hoffman, store manager of the Lake Murray Country Souvenir Shop.
You can view and purchase Lake Murray products at LakeMurrayGifts.com or stop and shop at 2184 N. Lake Drive, Columbia (on the Irmo side of the Lake Murray Dam).
The Visitor Center is hosting an after-hours Holiday HOP and SHOP event on Thursday, December 2nd from 4-7 pm. The local businesses participating in the HOP and SHOP include Wingard’s Market, Nifty Gifty and POSHture/Fancy Pants Boutique.
