Catcher Lexi Winters is a college All-American.
The University of South Carolina rising senior and teammate Arianna Rodi were named Academic All-Americans by the College Sports Communicators Organization on Tuesday.
Rodi was named to the national second team, while Winters made the third team list.
Winters had a 4.0 GPA, playing in all 61 games and starting most behind home plate. She was second on the team in RBIs this season, ranking fifth in program history.
Her six home runs and .527 slugging percentage also ranked second among the Gamecocks. Winters’ efforts helped South Carolina post an historic 2025 season. It went 44-17, posted a winning SEC record for the first time and reached the Super Regionals of the Women’s College World Series.
