In a chilling turn of events, Lexington County has been rattled by the arrest of a man and a woman in connection with two separate fatal shootings late last year. Allon Triante Adams, 22, and Cady Elise Keener, 19, now face charges including two counts of murder, armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and desecration of human remains, according to arrest warrants.
Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon revealed that Adams and Keener allegedly shot a man to death during an armed robbery in late November on Kestrel Drive in Leesville. Another man fell victim to their violence on December 30, this time on Parrish Road in Leesville. The victims have been identified as Devon Tricoche and Tony Etheredge Jr., respectively, according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.
Disturbingly, investigators discovered that Adams and Keener moved Tricoche’s body from the crime scene on Kestrel Drive, discarding it at an Edisto River boat landing in Aiken County. Similarly, Etheredge’s body was initially discarded off Parrish Road but was later found dumped in Black Creek.
Adams, a resident of Leesville, and Keener, residing in Lexington, are currently held in the Lexington County Detention Center after being arrested earlier this week on different charges. While the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office has provided crucial assistance in Tricoche’s case, both investigations remain open, and additional charges are possible.
