By now many of you have heard the devastating news of long time Chapin business, Ellett Brothers, closing their doors. In light of this unfortunate news, the Town of Chapin and the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce have partnered to put together the Chapin Job Fair. The event will be held on July 25, from noon – 6 pm at the Chapin Town Hall Community Room.

There have been several other highlights over the past couple weeks, however, there is one that I feel like I should personally mention. We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Ronald Crawford. He was one of the most prominent Chapin people, most famous for his ice cream bar at the local pharmacy. He provided many young Chapin folks an opportunity to work over the years and we are grateful for the impact he had on this great community.
