Sheriff Leon Lott to speak at Spring Hill Middle

Event will focus on accountability, choices and student development

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott will speak with parents and students at Spring Hill Middle School on October 20 at 6 p.m.

Principal Dr. Stephanie Huckabee invited Lott to share encouragement and guidance with families navigating the challenges of the middle and high school years.

The discussion will focus on helping students understand that their actions have consequences and how accountability can contribute to their personal growth and development. Lott will draw on his experience in law enforcement to discuss challenges that can arise when young people enter adulthood without fully understanding the consequences of their choices.

“Families and students can face unique challenges during the middle and high school years,” Huckabee said. “We invited Sheriff Lott to share his expertise and encouragement to help students understand how accountability and choices can shape their growth.”

The event is open to families and students of middle and high school age.

Spring Hill Middle School is located at 11661 Broad River Road in Chapin.
