The City of Cayce is excited to announce the return of the Soiree on State, scheduled for its new date on Saturday, March 23, 2024. In collaboration with the Avenues Neighborhood Association, the city has combined the Cayce Festival of the Arts with Soiree on State to create an enhanced and vibrant event.
Soiree on State will feature a variety of attractions, including:
- Artists showcasing their work
- Free kid’s area with bounce courses, face painting, and a balloon artist
- Food vendors offering delicious treats
- Diverse musical performances
The event will take place from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm along State Street, spanning from Poplar Avenue to Railroad Street. Attendees can enjoy free parking at Brooklyn Cayce High School and all side streets.
Mayor Partin conceived the idea for Soiree on State after participating in the Mayor’s Institute on City Design, aiming to attract residents and visitors to the city’s original downtown core, State Street. Over the years, the event has played a significant role in revitalizing the area, leading to the establishment of thriving locally-owned businesses on State Street.
Now in its 6th year, Soiree on State has evolved into a street festival with arts and crafts, food trucks, live music, and a free kids’ area. The event has become a popular annual tradition, drawing both locals and visitors to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Cayce’s downtown core.
Don’t miss the “Party in the Streets” at Soiree on State, where the community comes together to celebrate local arts, crafts, music, and more.
